1956 Ferrari 290 MM = $22m in 2018

A Ferrari Classiche-certified 1956 Ferrari 290 MM previously raced by Formula 1 legends Juan Manuel Fangio, Peter Collins and Sir Stirling Moss topped RM Sotheby's auction in 2018. The car has received a complete restoration by Ferrari Classiche in Italy and houses a perfect Tipo 130 V12 engine.
The car was built at the direction of company founder Enzo Ferrari, and it was the last of four 290 MM models built in 1956. A competition Ferrari, with a winning history, that was driven by several world famous drivers. That makes it highly desirable.

How high? It made $ 22m.
In 2015 a 1956 Ferrari 290 MM made $28m.

The cop car John Dillinger stole

The 1933 Ford V8 stolen by John Dillinger on March 3, 1934, from Lake County Sheriff Lillian Holley returned home to Crown Point for the first time in 87 years this spring. Dillinger escaped from the jail, taking guards hostage with a wooden gun, stealing two submachine guns and then the car to make his escape.

By taking the stolen car across state lines, Dillinger committed a federal offense, and the FBI began it's own manhunt.
The car was abandoned in Chicago. “If I ever see John Dillinger, I’ll shoot him dead with my own pistol,” Holley told Time Magazine. Holley died June 15, 1994, at the age of 103.

1990 Yugo GVC Cabrio - $12,100

370 miles are showing on the odometer. The Yugo suffered from a reputation for non-existant workmanship and is generally recognized as the worst car ever made. Many Yugos began falling apart immediately after leaving the showroom. The car became the brunt of humor, with it's greatest asset said to be it was light and easy to push after breaking down. Unknown who is buying a Yugo with a view to a future collector car, but here we have it. 1990 was the beginning of the end for the Yugo in America. The Yugo disappeared from the US market for good in 1992. Only 6,359 Yugos were built for 1990, with no notion as to how many convertibles might have been.

1996 Porsche 911 GT2 Clubsport

The Porsche 911 GT2 Clubsport is one of the rarest 993-generation models, with a rumored number of just 21 made. Porsche created the GT2 Clubsport because of 90s homologation rules. A certain number of road-going cars were derived from its FIA GT2 turbocharged 911 race car. Out of the 194 GT2 911’s built, only a handful were adapted to Clubsport specification.
The 993 GT2 3.6-litre flat-6 bi-turbo engine generated 430hp. The engine is based on the 993 turbo unit, but without four-wheel drive and traction control. 0-60 time is around 4 seconds onto a top speed of 184 mph. RM Sotheby’s expects the car to bring upwards of $1.4m USD.

1998 Porsche 911 GT1 Straßenversion

When the 911 GT1 was unveiled in 1996, Porsche exploited the rule book to the full. Rather than develop a race version of one of their road going models, what they created was effectively a purpose built prototype, but in order to comply with regulations a street legal version was created, 911 GT1 Straßenversion - literally a road-going racing car. The new vehicle was an outright success at Le Mans, winning the GT1 class at its debut race, and finishing 2nd and 3rd overall behind Joest Racing's Porsche WSC-95 prototype from the LMP1 class.

0 to 60 is 3.6 seconds and top speed of 196 mph. (315 kph)
The 911 GT1 Straßenversion packs a mid-mounted 3.2-liter twin-turbo flat six that produces 537 hp and 443 lb-ft. The car weighs 2,535 pounds. (1,150 kg)
Only 21 of them are in existence with 2 being spyders.

In early 2018 chassis number 005, driven a total of 4,400 km, made $5.66m

2021 Ford Bronco

The 2021 Ford Bronco is the cat's ass. How so? A used First Edition model was sold for nearly double its retail price at auction. The First Edition Bronco, one of 7,000 produced, sold at Mecum’s Dallas auction for a ridiculous US$126,500. The base price for the vehicle is listed at US$63,500. In Cyber Orange, it has 300 kilometres on the odometer. The four-door trim features a twin-turbocharged 2.7-litre V6 EcoBoost engines that pushes out 310 hp and 400 pound-feet of torque.
Ford has received more than 190,000 reservations for the SUV, and has halted online ordering. There are production issues, including hardtop replacements. As customer frustrations boil over, those at the front of the line are cashing out, some US$63,000 to be exact.

Auburn "Boattail" Speedster

Auburn was a brand name of American automobiles produced from 1900 through 1937. In 1926 Auburn partnered with Duesenberg Corporation, famous for its racing cars, and used it as the launching platform for a line of high-priced luxury vehicles, the Duesenberg Model J. In 1937, production of Auburns, along with that of Cords and Duesenbergs, ended.
The Auburn Speedster (1935–37), and the Cord 810/812 (1936–37) became famous for their advanced engineering as well as their striking appearance. The Auburn Boattail Speedster was powered by a 4.6L straight eight that, with the popular supercharger option (150 hp), could top 100 mph (160 km/h). The Depression, coupled with Cord's stock manipulations, spelled the end of the company and production ceased in 1937.

Boattail Auburns are some of the most beautiful cars ever made, but they were some of the fastest as well.
At a time when Cadillac was competing directly with Rolls-Royce and its most powerful engine managed 90 horses, the Auburn put out 115 and topped 100mph.

$725,000 - $875,000
851 Boattail Speedsters were made and today reproductions are very popular.
