1969 Dodge Charger Hemi Daytona

This Charger Daytona took the pole at the 1969 Talladega 500 and was piloted by Buddy Baker to over 200 mph in 1970. The development car was thoroughly restored and authenticated.
The final clocked speed was 200.447 mph, the first time the speed was hit on a closed course. The icon did not change hands on a $750k to $1m estimate at Mecum.
