No. 4 of 69 1969 ZL1 Camaros

The car appeared in Chicago on October 25-27.One Chevy combines it all: the 1969 Chevrolet ZL1 Camaro. It went a step beyond the 427 Yenko and even the mighty L88 Corvette. The ZL1 was technically a Camaro option package and it was the first production Chevy engine to also have an aluminum block.

Comprehensive restoration completed by Bill Glowacki. 9560 427/425 HP V-8 engine. Winters aluminum block and heads. Turbo 400 automatic. Original BE 4.10 Positraction rear end. Power disc brakes. Cortez Silver with Black standard interior.
The car's sticker was a stratospheric $7,200
This example failed to change hands on a high bid of $380k
It was a whooping $4,160 for the ZL1 engine alone.
