 | A special-edition Carbon Series GT for the 2019 model year is planned by Ford. Its 40 pounds lighter than the standard supercar, thanks to carbon fiber wheels, a titanium exhaust, even titanium lug nuts. The vehicle starts around $450,000, and comes with air conditioning, a radio and the Sync 3 infotainment system. It won't, however, have cupholders. Ford has not set a limit on how many Carbon Series GTs it will build. It says it can produce one per week. |
 | The Carbon Series GTs can be ordered with accented mirror caps, calipers and a center stripe in either red, orange, blue or silver. The automaker earlier this month said it would build an additional 350 GTs over two additional model years, bringing the total to 1,350 produced over a six-year run. |
