Ferrari Monza SP1

Ferrari announced the Monza SP1, a new open-top supercar, as “probably the closest and purest driving experience to Formula 1.” Naturally the 500 planed examples have already been pre-sold, despite a likely $1m-plus price tag.

At a private event for well heeled customers at its headquarters in Maranello, Italy, the company said the 810hp Monza can reach 62mph in 2.9 seconds.
The cars will come in one-seat or two-seat versions. The company plans to launch an unprecedented 15 new models. Among them will be Ferrari’s first sports utility vehicles called Purosangue – Italian for thoroughbred.
