Ferrari launches upgraded FXX-K track-only supercar

Ferrari debuted tweaks for the LaFerrari-based FXX-K supercar. Now named the FXX-K Evo, it's been given new aerodynamics and has a reduction in weight, making it the most extreme Ferrari ever to roll out of the Marranello factory. Ferrari's team reduced weight to under the 1,255kg of the previous car – that's less than many modern family hatchbacks. 1,036bhp is on tap from the electric motor and 6.3-litre V12.
The vehicle produces 640kg of downforce at 124mph – that's 23 per cent more than the previous FXX-K, and 75 per cent more than the LaFerrari.

Ferrari will be offering the FXX-K Evo as either an upgrade package for the very small number of existing FXX-Ks (40 were built) or as a standalone model, also built in excruciatingly low numbers and by exclusive invitation.
