Lamborghini Huracan For Just $5

Having a supercar in your garage usually means paying an arm and a leg, not just for the exotic machine, but also on maintenance and unexpected repairs. However, this Lamborghini Huracan is going for just $5 and you don't need to worry. But make sure you get a trailer, and a broom to make sure that no ash is left behind.

Its condition speaks for itself - it burned to a total crisp for some reason, so salvaging it is slightly out of the question.
When it was still in driving condition, it used to have a black exterior over a black interior, and a 5.2-liter V10 engine pumping 601 HP and 413 lb-ft of torque to all four corners, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).

It's a tad slower than that now.

1950 Ferrari 166 MM/212 Export "Uovo" by Fontana

In August, the 1950 Ferrari 166 MM/212 Export “Uovo” by Fontana heads to auction as a featured lot in RM Sotheby’s Monterey sale. Chassis 024MB didn’t begin life as a custom-bodied Ferrari. Instead, the chassis originally wore a Barchetta body from Touring, and was first powered by a 2.0-liter V-12 rated at 140 horsepower.

A later 2.6-liter V-12 from a Ferrari 212 Export, equipped with triple Weber carburetors, produced in the neighborhood of 185 horsepower.
Though initially shunned by Enzo Ferrari, l’Uovo was invited to participate in Ferrari’s 50th anniversary celebration, held in 1997, and was briefly displayed at the Enzo Ferrari Museum.
The August Monterey auction represents the first time in over 30 years this Ferrari has been offered to the public. RM Sotheby’s predicts a selling price in excess of $5.5 million.

2016 Ford Taurus SHO

A Taurus graces this blog, are we mad? Perhaps, but the SHO isn't just ANY Taurus.

A 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine delivers 365 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 350 pound-feet of torque at 3,500 rpm. The definition of "Super High Output" has changed at Ford, the last SHO had a paultry 235 horsepower.
The use of twin turbochargers reduced size of each turbocharger and results in diminished internal inertia, allowing the engine to avoid "turbo lag". Meanwhile, the direct injection delivers smooth engine response and surprising fuel economy.
The Taurus SHO driveline combines a six-speed 6F55 SelectShift transmission with standard torque-sensing all-wheel-drive.
The Taurus SHO's closest competition comes from the Dodge Charger lineup. The AWD, HEMI V8-equipped Charger is similar in price and performance to the entry-level SHO. The powerful Charger SRT8 can be had for nearly the same MSRP as a loaded SHO. The Charger boasts a 470hp engine however. A semi-outfitted Taurus SHO is something around $ 50,000.

First Customer Lamborghini Centenario Spotted

Each Italian hypercar comes with a naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 770 hp, with Lamborghini stating it’s the most powerful engine they’ve ever produced.

It can run the 3,351-pound car from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and 0-186 mph in 23.5 seconds, onto a top speed of over 217 mph. Aiding in the quick acceleration is the permanent four-wheel drive, which includes the new Lamborghini rear-wheel steering system.
Only 20 units in coupe and 20 units in roadster were built, with all 40 units spoken for long before the official debut. Price was a trifling $ 2.5m

2017 Aston Martin DB11

Under the hood of the 2017 Aston Martin DB11 is a twin-turbo 600-hp V-12 that makes 516 lb-ft. The engine has been developed to deliver lag-free response with one turbocharger and intercooler per bank. This facilitates cylinder deactivation, with the engine shutting down a whole bank under gentle use to become a 2.6-liter inline-six.

The transmission is an eight-speed ZF automatic with power sent to the rear wheels through a torque-vectoring differential.
The DB11 gets a new multilink rear suspension and electrically assisted power steering.
The interior is appointed with leather and an 8-inch display in the dash's center. Options include automatic parking and a 360-degree camera system.
The DB11 will be priced at a base MSRP of $214,820 in the U.S. Deliveries started in Q4.

Maserati Ghibli Spyder

1971 Maserati Ghibli 4.9 SS Spyder
Maserati Ghibli is the name of three different cars produced by Italian manufacturer Maserati: the AM115, a V8 grand tourer from 1966 to 1973; the AM336, a V6 twin-turbo coupé from 1992 to 1997; and the M157, an executive saloon from 2013 on. Ghibli is the name for the hot dry south-westerly wind of the Libyan desert.

The Ghibli was first unveiled as a 2-seater prototype in November 1966. Deliveries started in March of 1967.

1969 Masarati Ghibli 4.7L Engine

End of the Road for McLaren Spider in Burlington, Ontario

A $300,000 McLaren Spider was destroyed by a 23 year-old driver after crashing into a power transformer at high speed. A 47-year-old male passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
It was reported that the car had been delivered a week earlier and the driver was impaired, likely voiding any insurance. The driver faces charges including causing bodily harm. The car was registered to an address just a block away from the crash.

The heart of the 641-hp 650-PS is a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The 650S can hit 60 mph in 2.9 seconds but can't stop instantly for dumb drunks.

Lambo Aventador S gets a facelift

Six years after the Lamborghini Aventador celebrated its global debut in Geneva, the Italian manufacturer returned to unveil the updated Aventador S at this year's show. With the 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12, Lamborghini has managed to turn it up a notch with an additional 39 hp, bringing the total to 730 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque. Among the key engine changes are optimized Variable Valve Timing and Variable Intake Systems as well as an increase in the redline from 8,350 to 8,500 rpm.
The biggest change in the new Aventador S is the four wheel steering system. At low and medium speeds, it improves the vehicle's agility while leading to better stability at high speed.
Alongside the Strada, Sport and Corsa driving modes, the car also gets a so-called Ego mode that allows the driver to tweak the suspension and drivetrain settings.

U.S. deliveries of the Aventador S will commence in spring and start at a base of $421,350.
