'Barn-find': rare 8,000-mile Datsun 260Z

The term 'barn-find' describes a model of significant worth, hidden away and neglected for years, potentially subjected to the elements. This 1978 Datsun 260Z bucks that trend, as after 21 years in hibernation it looks in good to very good condition.

The car ended up hidden away in storage just a year after its owner had bought it in 1995.
The follow-up to Datsun's 240Z this end of production model has just 8,285 genuine miles on the clock, meaning it could be the lowest-mileage 1970s Z model in existence today.

The 260Z claimed updates and improvements over the 240Z including a 2.6 L (160 cu in) L26 I6, cast-iron block that produced 162 hp at 5,600 rpm.
This rare car is expected to sell for £18,000 to £22,000.

2017 Bentley Mulsanne Speed

The 2017 Bentley Mulsanne Speed comes with all the bells and whistles, such as the 10.4-inch removable touchscreen Android-powered tablets and backseat champagne chiller (with three crystal flutes included, of course). The luxury super car boasts a 6.75 litre twin-turbo V-8 that drives the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic. It pumps out 530 horsepower.

0 to 60 mph is about 4.8 seconds. Top speed for this beast of a 6,200-pound luxury auto: 190 mph
Bentley’s team of engineers and designers focused on making the Mulsanne more refined. Road noise was markedly reduced through designed tires that incorporate a special foam-filled layer that reduces road noise by 50 percent. Active motor mounts keep all drivetrain-related noises from entering the cabin.
Base MSRP is $ 355,000

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

In July of 2016, Rolls-Royce unveiled its latest offering – the Wraith Black Badge. The Wraith and Ghost models feature a raft of upgrades, with more power and dark metal detailing. Rolls says the Black Badge Series is geared towards “the risk takers and disruptors who break the rules and laugh in the face of convention.”
The 6.6-litre V12 in each car benefits from a bit of extra shove. The Ghost is upped to 603 hp and 620lb ft, while the Wraith now has 623 hp and 642lb ft. Both cars also have sharper eight-speed automatic gearboxes, while the Wraith gets an overhauled air suspension system, one which provides a “magic carpet ride.”

Rock bottom base MSRP is $306,350.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars sold a record number of cars last year, breaking through the 4,000 mark for the first time in its 111-year history.

The luxury car maker sold 4,063 cars, up 12% on last year, and marking the fifth consecutive year of record sales. Sales in the US increased by almost a third, by 40% in Europe and in the Middle East by 20%.
Its Wraith model and strong orders for its new Ghost Series II helped drive the strong performance.

The firm said it sold more cars worth more than €200,000 (£157,000) than any of its rivals.

The Ferrari SP275 RW Competizione is a one-off based on Ferrari’s F12 TDF, built for an unnamed but very, very wealthy customer.

0-62mph is expected in 2.9 seconds onto a 211mph top speed. They won't be giving this baby away.

The standard TDF rings in at £340,000 before the extras.

Lamborghini unveils soft-top Huracan 580-2 Spyder

The Huracan LP-580-2 Spyder is a soft-top version of Lamborghini's "entry level" two-wheel-drive sports car.

The Huracan LP 580-2 is less fast and powerful than the original Huracan 610-4. The $240,000 Huracàn LP 610-4, comes packed with a 602 horsepower V10 engine and all-wheel-drive traction. The hardtop Huracàn LP 580-2, starts about $40,000 less. It produces 573 horsepower and it's rear-wheel-drive, not all-wheel drive.
Since 1998, Lamborghini has nearly tripled its employees and increased sales from a few hundred cars per year to 3245 in 2015. A good reason for this growth is the new Huracán coupe, which in its first 18 months on the market is outselling its predecessor, the Gallardo, by a wide margin.

The Spyder can manage a zero-to-60 sprint in 2.8 seconds, versus the 2.5 from the coupe. All indications are that this Spyder is just as capable as the sublime coupe. The Spyder carries a $267,545 base sticker.

1st Ford GT rolls off line in Markham

The first of the brand-new Ford GT super cars rolled off the line at Multimatic's assembly facility in Markham December 16th. The carbon-fiber, $400,000 supercar sports a twin-turbocharged, 600-horsepower engine.

“When we kicked off 2016, we had two primary objectives for our Ford GT super car – to excel at Le Mans, and to start deliveries before year-end,” said Raj Nair, Ford executive vice-president of global product development. “We’ve achieved both.” Earlier this year, the production of the GT super car was extended by another two years. Ford Performance will re-open the application process in early 2018.

The official time, the fastest ever recorded by German publication “sport auto” when testing a genuine road-going sports car on the notorious track, also ranks as the seventh fastest in history around the infamous 20km circuit.

The GT-R features a bi-turbo V8 engine that puts out 585hp and 700Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0-100kph in 3.6 seconds.
The GT-R was unveiled on June 24, 2016 at the Brooklands track in England. Deliveries are expected to commence in March 2017.
Pricing has yet to be revealed but most expect the base MRSP to be something around $ 200,000
