1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback - $202k

Top lot thus far at Kissimmee is this concours quality 1970 Boss 429. Kar Kraft No. 2346. Restoration by Mustang expert Kevin Manley, resulting in MCA Concours Gold level condition. 1 of 499 built. Grabber Blue exterior. White and black interior with Hurst shifter. Close-ratio 4-speed transmission. 3.91 Traction-Lok rear end. Nothing compares to Ford’s mighty Boss 429 Mustang. Created and released for one purpose – to homologate Ford’s hot new hemi-head Boss 429 engine for NASCAR Grand National competition.
The “Boss Nine” was essentially hand-built by Ford racing subcontractor Kar Kraft of Brighton, Michigan. Ford rated output of the “street” Boss 429 at 375 horsepower, a figure that is laughable as the more plausible is 500+ horses. This Boss is concours quality throughout.
