Stolen Supercars

German police recovered an extremely valuable Ferrari 288 GTO. A man sped off with the rare car while posing as a would-be buyer. A Polish car thief managed to get a W16 powered Bugatti started and rolling in 2011. German police finally managed to intercept the stolen HyperSport in Bayern.
The chase needed the polizei aviation wing - conventional German police cars weren't fast enough.
A Ferrari F50 was stolen in 2009. The thief befriended a dealer, and then drove off. The car was eventually found during a drug raid by the FBI. Two agents promptly crashed it. The car was sold for $370k.

A yellow Lamborghini Gallardo was too much for Max Wade to resist in 2011. He rappelled into a San Francisco dealership to rip it off. The car was eventually discovered in Wade's storage unit.
Gang banger Wade is now in prison for life.
