1967 Toyota 2000GT - $511k

The 1965 Tokyo Motor Show marked a paradigm shift in the Japanese car industry. Japan was known for making cheap economy cars while Europe was making sports cars. The idea of a two-seater sports car designed and built in Japan was strange. The 2000GT proved that Toyota could take the fight to the world's sports car makers.
When production came to a close in 1970, just 351 examples had been built. Priced at over $7,000 in 1967 it was outrageously expensive.

Survivors are thought to number fewer than 260.
The 2000GT is one of the most coveted 1960s sports cars and most desirable Japanese car ever built.
