Ford GT Competition Series

Ford is set to offer its supercar in a Competition Series. The Ford GT trim is supposed to make it more suitable for folks who identify themselves as “hardcore track enthusiasts.” The changes to the GT even include titanium lugnuts. And forget the air conditioning - that and the cupholders are gone.
The Ford GT Competition Series is available for all the production years that Ford plans to build the GT, so if you’re one of the folks fortunate enough to have a GT coming your way – you should let Ford know that you’re cool enough to want a track based $400k+ supercar. Numbers should be slightly better than the boring old 647 hp at 6,250 rpm and 550 lb-ft of torque at 5,900 rpm and top speed of 216 mph.
