2017 Porsche 911 Carrera

Ever since Porsche launched the 911 at the Frankfurt auto show in 1963, the naturally aspirated flat-six engine has been the power plant. Although turbochargers first saw street duty on the 911 in 1975, they were always reserved for upmarket models. Now, with a few exceptions, every 911 off the line is fitted with a turbocharger. The twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve flat-6, aluminum block and heads, direct fuel injection of 182 cu in, punches out 370 hp @ 6500 rpm with torque 331 lb-ft @ 1700 rpm.
Transmission is a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic with manual shifting mode. The car can hit 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and run the quarter in 11.9 seconds at 118 mph.
A 2017 911 Carrera starts at a base of $90,395. The 2017 Carrera S, starts at $104,395. The Carrera cabriolet is $102,695, while the Carrera S cabriolet is $116,695.
