 | The Agera RS is a mid-engined sports car made by Swedish car manufacturer Koenigsegg. The name Agera comes from the Swedish verb 'agera' which means "to act” or "to take action". In early development the car was fitted with a 4.7-litre V8 engine but it was replaced with a 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine for the production version of the car. |

 | Huge ventilated ceramic disc brakes on all four corners enable the Agera to accelerate from zero to 124 mph and come to a full stop in just 12.6 seconds. Somewhere north of 100 mph the car’s aerodynamic shape begins to exert significant downforce (660 pounds at 155 mph). The Agera R will set you back around $2.8 million or so.  |
