2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible

The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 features a 640-hp, 640 lb-ft of torque Corvette Z06 supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V-8. The LT4 is backed by a standard six-speed manual transmission or all-new paddle-shift 10-speed automatic.

The 455-hp SS version of the new sixth-generation car boasted a 3.9-second zero-to-60-mph run and a 12.3-second quarter-mile time. Those uber quick numbers will likely be improved upon with estimates suggesting a 0-60 time of 3.5 sec on the way to a top speed of 186 mph.
The car comes standard with magnetic ride suspension, a brake-based limited-slip differential, Brembo brakes, and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels shod with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
The ZL1 will be available later this year in coupe only. The convertible will join the lineup in early 2017. Pricing has not yet been revealed, but the last-generation ZL1 started at a cool $67,000.
